About Us
Meet Our Diverse Staff
The USF Counseling Center staff is committed to supporting the mental health and wellness needs of our diverse student body. Each clinical provider is prepared to use evidence-based interventions in our short-term, goal-oriented model to help students manage common concerns seen at university counseling centers.
We are staffed with professional administrative staff, leadership team members, professional clinical staff (full & part-time), and clinical trainees (full & part-time). Collectively, our staff share many cultural identities with the students we serve. These include, but are not limited to, race, gender, age, body size, language, ethnicity, nationality, sexual identity, social class, religious affiliation, and ability. Students can expect all staff members to respect and affirm their intersecting visible and invisible identities. Clinical providers will work with students to establish confidential and trusting counseling relationships that consider the impact of cultural identities on the counseling process.
