My approach to therapy: My approach to therapy involves a combination of evidence-based approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I am trained in Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), a highly effective technique for treating OCD, phobias, and anxiety. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, including addiction, relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, and multicultural family dynamics. My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where individuals can feel empowered to explore their emotions, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
My approach to supervision: My supervision style centers around fostering open communication and offering thoughtful clinical insight to help supervisee’s effectively conceptualize cases and address their clients' needs. My goal is to encourage the use of ethical, evidence-based practices while nurturing personal development and strengthening judgment in clinical practice throughout the supervision process.
Fun Fact: Some of my favorite ways to practice self-care include attending hot yoga classes, relaxing at the beach, and doing creative craft projects.
