My approach to therapy: I am a White, cisgender, heterosexual woman who was raised in the Tampa Bay area, along with my 3 younger siblings.  As a therapist, I strive to provide a culturally sensitive environment where students know they are always accepted and supported. My style is primarily focused on helping you to build the skills to successfully address and cope with the different struggles that life has thrown at you.  I also love being able to incorporate my previous experience with health psychology, veterans, rural populations, as well as integrating issues of faith/spirituality.

Approach to Supervision/Training: I use a Competency-based and Integrated Developmental approaches, offering encouragement and support as trainees strive toward becoming effective mental health providers.  I often focus on strategies to support trainees in meeting profession-wide competencies, while making sure these strategies meet the appropriate developmental stage.
