My approach to therapy: I am a Bisexual/Queer identified, cisgender, White woman and an undergraduate alum returning to USF! I take an integrative interpersonal approach to therapy. My primary goal is to foster a relationship and space where you feel safe and supported while we work collaboratively together towards your specific goals. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities incorporating mindfulness, emotion-focused, and cognitive-behavioral interventions into our work to best meet you where you are at, so we can best support your needs. We will integrate insight-oriented work and skill building to ensure you can learn more about yourself while also gaining tools to use during challenging times. I encourage exploration of yourself, your identities, and your hobbies and interests, so that we can incorporate all parts of YOU into your wellness! I enjoy working with college students through adjustment and transition issues, interpersonal relationship difficulties, diversity and social justice, women’s issues, social anxiety, generalized anxiety and mood disorders, and stressful and traumatic experiences. I am very passionate about working with sexual orientation and gender diverse individuals (LGBTQ+), as it is important to me to provide support to my community.

My approach to supervision: I use an integrative developmental approach to supervision, utilizing the Integrated Developmental Model (IDM) and incorporating interpersonal, psychodynamic, and multicultural aspects into supervision. My role as a supervisor fluctuates between teacher, counselor, and consultant based upon the supervisee’s needs and where they are in their professional journey. I use the supervisory relationship to explore and understand how cultural and identity factors impact our supervision process and the supervisee’s therapeutic relationships.
