More about the Dietitian
A dietitian (or dietician) is an expert in dietetics; that is, human nutrition and the regulation of diet. A dietitian advises people on what to eat in order to lead a healthy lifestyle or to achieve a specific health-related goal. Students can receive counseling on becoming healthier, losing weight or becoming vegan, vegetarian, or pescatarian. Student Health Services sponsors events in collaboration with USF Dining, so students can learn how to make quick, delicious, balanced meals and enjoy a free healthy lunch. Spring semester features Cooking with the Dietitians on January 31, February 21, March 21, and April 11th. Students can reserve their spot here.
