Serve on the AAC
Attention All Administration Employees
The AAC is seeking dynamic individuals to serve on the Council for the August 2024 - July 2027 term. Any Administration class employee with a minimum .5 FTE can participate on the Council.
Serving on the AAC can be a very rewarding experience. Available openings will be filled as appropriate in each Vice-Presidential area/unit through a university approved electronic system. Each Council member will be assigned a group of constituents within their Vice-Presidential area/unit at the start of the academic year. Academic year is defined as August to July. Terms are for three (3) years,
AAC member duties include:
- Representing constituency members by regularly attending meetings held on the second
Tuesday of each month.
- Communicating information about upcoming AAC meetings (minutes, guest speakers, etc.),
interesting things learned in AAC meetings, Policies for Review or Comment, AAC Events
(AAC Annual Community Breakfast, Homecoming parade viewing event, Week of Welcome,
etc.) as well as other information relevant to their life here at USF.
- Encouraging Administration employees to communicate system-wide problems that can
be discussed at an AAC meeting.
- Serve on at least one of the AAC Service Committees
- Maintain an updated biography (please see member profiles)
Interested individuals should complete the Candidate Interest Form form by March 25th, 2024. The form which includes a section for a brief biography, will be sent via email to all USF administration and online elections will be held April 15, 2024 through May 13, 2024 for all open positions. Administration employees will vote for their candidate of choice based on VP area of employment.
