Community College Partnerships
Overview
USF has partnered with the regional community college, Hillsborough Community College (HCC) to create greater momentum for culture change. Serving the Tampa Bay area, HCC has five primary campuses, three satellite locations, and the Institute for Corporate and Continuing Education (ICCE).
The USF-HCC STEER partnership includes:
- fostering inter-institutional communication and curricular design through interdisciplinary retreats and collaborative course redesign
- facilitating students transition from HCC to USF via transfer peer advisors or "STEER Peers" housed at the HCC STEM Transfer Center.
