Maria Lucia Carrillo Gonzalez

María Lucía Carrillo (Malu) is a graduate student in the department of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Malu earned her BA at USF in English - Literature and in Mass Communications with a concentration in Journalism. Malu’s research interests include gender in media and the rhetoric of pop culture. Malu’s favorite Taylor Swift album is either Reputation or Folklore, and she would read Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin for the first time again if she could.
