Megs Peterson

Megs Peterson is a graduate student pursuing their M.A. in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Their research interests are the intersection of WGSS and activism, specifically what Feminist Community Organizing looks like. They are passionate about community organizing and education, believing it should be as well-researched and thoughtful as the classes taught in the WGSS department to empower communities without the same access to information. Megs has their background in the nonprofit sector, they have a B.A. in Nonprofit Management with a minor in Diversity and Social Inequality and have volunteered, interned, and worked for many local and international organizations. In their free time they love to be around their chosen family, read fiction books and watch indie films, and go on walks with their boxer named Artemis.
