Alba holds a PhD in Underwater Archaeology from the University of Sydney. Her research focuses on submerged settlements and human-environment interaction in the coastal zone. Her work also focuses on prehistoric seafaring and commercial navigation during the Classical Antiquity in Sicily.

Kaitlyn holds a PhD in History from the University of South Florida with a focus on Digital Humanities. Her research interests include the digital humanities, history, 3D archaeology and archaeology in (and of) games. Her specialization field is digital photogrammetry, 3D scanning and LiDAR. Paolo Trapani

Paolo holds a M.A, in Archaeology from the University of Catania with a focus on Mediterranean prehistory. His scientific areas of interest are ceramic studies, digital technologies for excavatation data recording and public outreach of cultural heritage.
Alexander W. Anthony

Alex holds an M.S. in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a focus in historical archaeology. His research focuses on the influences of prison reform movements and ideology on the human and spatial/material dimensions and experiences of confinement from the post-Medieval period through the 20th century. His most recent project is the Central Mediterranean Penal Heritage Project - CMPHP.
Dustin Thomas
PhD Candidate, University of Virginia
Dustin's present research examines the dynamics of funerary customs across the provinces of the Roman Empire. By applying geospatial analytical techniques and 3D technologies, he is investigating how burial spaces such as rock-cut tombs are evidence for funerary rites that were informed by unique, pre-Roman cultural traditions maintained by provincial inhabitants despite their incorporation into a cosmopolitan imperial network.

Ben is a postgraduate student in MSc Digital Archaeology at the University of York, whilst holding a BA in Archaeology and History from the University of Southampton. As a field archaeologist, he has worked internationally on both commercial and research projects. His research interests focus around historical, digital, and community archaeologies. He is especially focused on the archaeology of colonialism, exploring how people engaged, negotiated, and resisted empires through material culture and expressions of identity.
