Carolina Biological Supply Company has everything you need for science education-including
living organisms, preserved specimens, anatomical models, laboratory chemicals and
equipment, microscopes, prepared microscope slides, and more. We specialize in serving
the university classroom and lab. We also provide 3D Learning classroom kits and Distance
Learning programs for colleges.
We do our own field collection, grow many of our own cultures, prepare specimens for
classroom study, and develop/test many of our new products at our Burlington, NC campus.
We work in partnership with educators and scientists outside of Carolina to make sure
we have a substantial, diverse offering.

For living/perishable material, the buyer should enter a Requested Delivery Date,
so we know when to ship the material to ensure it arrives in the lab in good and useable
condition.
Please include any special instructions or special requests into the external Header
Level Comment to vendor field or the external Line Level Comment to vendor field.

Supplier Delivery Terms:
On orders of $200.00 or more: Prices will be freight prepaid except on living, perishable, hazardous chemicals, kits containing hazardous chemicals, drop ship items, and preserved specimens. Freight prepaid shipments are cheapest/best way. Motor freight shipments are dock delivery only. Inside delivery for motor freight shipments and expedited shipping methods are an additional charge.
On orders less than $200.00: Shipping and handling charges will be added.
The Smithsonian STC products, Building Blocks of Science products, furniture, furniture accessories, and Distance Learning Kits will be sold at list price with no discount and freight charges will be added to the billing invoice.

satisfied with any item, you may return it for a replacement, a refund, or credit*.

Return an Item
Contact Customer Service at 800.334.5551 or 336.446.7600 (8:00 am to 6:30 pm, ET,
Monday–Friday).
Have your purchase order number and Carolina order number available.
A Customer Service Representative will give you a Return Authorization Number and
any additional instructions. The number allows us to quickly credit your account or
credit card once the item has been returned and processed.
Items not in Resalable Condition
Items not in resalable condition cannot be returned unless damaged or defective. Items
held more than 6 months and returned in resalable condition are subject to a 25% restocking
fee.
Drop-Shipped Items
For drop-shipped items (such as furniture or equipment), a 25% restocking fee will
apply if you return the product for any reason other than shipping damage or manufacturing
defect. You are responsible for shipping the product back to the manufacturer in resalable
condition and in the original packing.
Carolina™ Curriculum Policy
If you need to return an item, please notify Customer Service within 30 days for authorization.
Include your purchase order number and Carolina order number. If any material is purchased
and later returned because of customer error, a 25% restocking charge will be assessed
on the credited amount, and the material returned to Carolina freight prepaid. Items
held more than 6 months, partially used or opened items (opened boxes, bundles, packs,
cases, bags, pallets, etc.), or discontinued items CANNOT be returned for credit.
In case of our error, full credit will be issued upon receipt of the incorrect item.
Carolina Science Online® Policy
For Carolina Science Online® or other online digital content purchased from Carolina,
please notify Customer Service within 30 days of your order. Have your purchase order
number and Carolina order number available along with your Carolina Science Online®
username.

Speak with one of our representatives. We will delete (or cancel) the online resource
subscription and credit your account or credit card.
Carolina Distance Learning™ Policy
Carolina Distance Learning science kits are specially designed to meet individual
course requirements. The kits are produced to meet specific learning objectives as
prescribed by the college or university and are not returnable.
