USF’s Bellini Center for Talent Development honored with Distinguished Program award

TAMPA - The University of South Florida’s Bellini Center for Talent Development at the Muma College of Business was awarded the Distinguished Program award at the 2025 Suitable Pathways to Student Development Conference, an honor reserved for programs making extraordinary contributions to student development and success.

Held in late July, the conference brought together hundreds of higher education leaders and professionals from across the country seeking to enhance student outcomes, exchange best practices in engagement, and drive meaningful improvements in student development programs.

The award recognizes programs that have demonstrated excellence in using Suitable, the student engagement and success platform, to best serve their student population while supporting their mission and vision.

The Bellini Center’s innovative approach was recognized for its seamless integration of professional development into the academic experience through tools like Canvas and Qualtrics, resulting in nearly 50,000 undergraduate student activity completions within the past year.

These outcomes demonstrate not only the center’s reach, but also its deep, measurable impact on preparing students for success beyond the classroom.

This award highlights USF and the Muma College of Business’s commitment to preparing career-ready graduates ready to make an impact in the workforce.

This is the second award within a year to recognize the Bellini Center. In November 2024, the center received a Tampa Bay Inno Award for the center’s impact on the local innovation community.
