Graduate Certificate: Children's Mental Health

USF’s fully online Graduate Certificate in Children’s Mental Health provides specialized training and skill development to professionals interested in working with children with mental and behavioral health challenges and their families.

The program includes 15 credit hours consisting of 9 core credits (3 classes) and 6 elective credits (2 classes).

Admission Requirements

  • Applicants must meet University Graduate Admissions and English Proficiency requirements. 
  • Applicants must also have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a field related to human services (e.g. social work, sociology, psychology, public health, nursing, education, etc.) with a minimum 3.0 GPA, or be currently enrolled in a graduate degree program at an accredited institution in a related field.
