USF Speech-Language Pathology Prerequisite Track
Prepare to apply for a graduate degree in speech-language pathology. This package of seven online courses is designed to meet the prerequisite requirements of the master's program in speech-language pathology at USF and most other universities. You are not required to take all seven courses. Choose only those required by your intended graduate program. These courses are taken as a non-degree seeking student. Courses are on a first come, first served basis and seats are not guaranteed.
Option 1: Online Prerequisite Track
Option 2: Complete a second Bachelors of Arts
This program will take approximately two years and will result in an awarded BA degree. Students will take all of the undergraduate courses, program prerequisites, and two semesters of a foreign language (if not previously completed at the college level). Courses are offered in a specific sequence to allow prerequisites to be met for subsequent semesters. More information about the bachelors program is available here. This program can be completed in person on the Tampa campus, or online by choosing Sarasota as your home campus at the time of application and will require full-time hours to complete. In-person classes on the Tampa campus generally require attendance four days per week during morning/afternoon hours.
