Non-Degree Admission

Non-Degree Admission

Enrolling as a non-degree seeking student at USF allows you to take courses for enrichment, certification, degree completion, or to meet pre-admission requirements for entry into graduate degree programs. Non-degree students at USF may request to have earned credit (a maximum of 12 semester hours at the graduate level and 14 earned credit hours at the undergraduate level) transferred into a degree program at USF, per program approval. Students interested in this option should contact their desired degree-seeking program of study directly for guidance.

For the optimal enrollment experience, your Non-Degree application must be received three weeks before the start of the term.  The Non-Degree application deadlines are as follows:

  • Spring 2022 - December 20, 2021
  • Summer 2022 - April 25, 2022
  • Fall 2022 - August 1, 2022

Applications received after the deadline will not be given priority and may not be processed in time for the current term. All students must have registration fully complete by 5 p.m. the first week of the term; in summer, there are part of term B options for late applicants.
