How to RSVP
Fall 2020 Graduates
On September 23, the State University System of Florida directed all state universities, including the University of South Florida, to develop alternate commencement ceremonies for the fall semester. This announcement means that we will be holding a Virtual Commencement in December for our fall graduates.
Bachelor’s, master’s and specialist students who applied to graduate online by the Registrar’s Office deadline of September 21 will automatically be included in the Virtual Commencement and the program with the list of graduates. Because of the extreme circumstances with the continued COVID-19 pandemic, we have extended the timeframe in which student names can be included in the Virtual Commencement. Bachelor’s, master’s and specialist students who apply y through the Registrar’s Office via OASIS to graduate by October 2 will be eligible to have their name included in the Virtual Commencement, but their name will not be included in the program or have accurate bachelor’s GPA honors status notated.
PhD and EdD students will be included if they meet the ETD submission deadline and requirements, and AuD, DBA, DPT, DNP, PharmD and DrPH students should contact their program advisor to ensure they meet the necessary qualifications for inclusion.
Questions about the graduation application should be directed to the Registrar’s Office.
RSVP INFORMATION FOR TRADITIONAL, IN-PERSON COMMENCEMENT
Please make note that the RSVP website will make reference to tickets—there are no tickets required for graduates. The system is simply used as your way of registering to attend Commencement and letting us know that you will be attending. There is no need to print and bring your "ticket" as a graduate. Students from the St. Petersburg campus will use this system to register and receive their guest tickets, but only students from the St. Petersburg campus need guest tickets (due to the size of The Mahaffey Theater).
For assistance please email your campus’ Commencement coordinator:
