Ceremony Schedule

Fall 2026 Commencement is scheduled for December 11 - 12 at the Yuengling Center on the Tampa campus. 

Friday, December 11

9:00 am - Master’s and doctoral degree recipients from all colleges

1:30 pm - Bachelor’s degree recipients from the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences and the following Schools and Departments from the College of Arts and Sciences: Zimmerman School of Advertising and Mass Communications; Anthropology; Communication; Economics; English; History; Humanities and Cultural Studies; School of Information; School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies; Journalism and Digital Communication; Philosophy; Religious Studies; Sociology and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences; Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies; and World Languages

6:00 pm - Bachelor’s degree recipients from the College of Arts and Sciences in the following Schools and Departments: Chemistry, School of Geosciences, Integrative Biology, Mathematics and Statistics, Molecular Biosciences, Physics, Psychology, and Sustainability Studies

Saturday, December 12

9:00 am - Bachelor’s degree recipients from the colleges of Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing; Engineering; Nursing; and Public Health

1:30 pm - Bachelor’s degree recipients from the colleges of Muma College of Business; Design, Art and Performance; Education; and Office of Undergraduate Studies

Commencement Registration

Bachelor's and Master's candidates who apply to graduate for the Fall 2026 term through Student Self Service by October 2, 2026 will be emailed a personalized Commencement registration link on October 9.

Doctoral candidates will be emailed a personalized Commencement registration link after the ETD deadline has passed.

The deadline to register for Commencement is November 20.

If you would like to participate in the Fall Commencement ceremony but are not earning your degree this Fall, please contact us at commencement@usf.edu by November 6, 2026.

Please note:

  • The "Graduation Date" listed on Student Self-Service is the date listed on every graduate's diploma and not necessarily the day you participate in Commencement.
  • Applying to graduate and registering to participate in Commencement are two different processes.
  • Participation in Commencement is optional. All eligible graduates will receive their diplomas by mail approximately 6–8 weeks after the semester ends.
