Local school district leaders convene for inaugural Tampa Bay Literacy Leadership Collaborative

The David C. Anchin Center is proud to announce the launch of the Tampa Bay Literacy Leadership Collaborative, a multi-district team of literacy leaders working together to harness the power of evidence-based, equitable instructional practices while implementing the Florida B.E.S.T. standards and a newly adopted English Language Arts curriculum.
Six of the Anchin Center's partner districts—Hernando, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Sarasota—are participating in the inaugural cohort of this program.
Facilitated by Dr. Angela Schroden, the Tampa Bay Literacy Leadership Collaborative meets every three weeks to discuss issues at the intersection of literacy, equity, and pedagogy.
