At the David C. Anchin Center for the Advancement of Teaching, we bring expertise together. We engage with other educators and collaborate with a wide variety of partners to apply research that links to action, as well as engage in action that links to research.
By using this approach, educators generate knowledge about how to improve teaching, leadership and schools. This approach draws on accumulated knowledge, methods, and techniques to better understand practical problems today's educators face. Change in education occurs as educational practitioners or policymakers determine the extent to which knowledge outcomes are actionable within their particular contexts.
The primary goals driving our work are to encourage and support all those in education to become critical consumers of research about education and to become leaders in innovating education. We invite you to explore the findings and results of our efforts.
