Gifted Education

Program of Study

The Program of Study form is a document that lists all of the courses a student must take to complete their degree program.  This form is also used to approve students for the comprehensive examination and to certify students for graduation. Students in the Gifted Education program complete a planned Program of Study form to identify the courses they plan to complete in order to fulfill the requirements for the master of arts degree. This form will be approved by the program’s major professor when the student begins the degree program.

If courses completed and listed on the student's transcript are not consistent with those listed on the Program of Study form, the courses will not be counted as satisfying degree requirements. Any change(s) to a Program of Study form should be completed with a Course Substitution form and filed with the College of Education’s Graduate Support Office (EDU 320) to officially add these courses to the student's Program of Study.
