Dr. John Mann is a visiting instructor and Senior Project Director for Leadership Development at the David C. Anchin Center for the Advancement of Teaching. At the Anchin Center, he coordinates the Gulf Coast Partnership Program for Level II Principal Certification.

Dr. Mann earned his doctorate at Indiana University. His research interests are best summarized as focusing on the power of strengths and their influence on an organization. He has a specific interest in Appreciative Inquiry, Organizing, and Leadership and its overall impact on the success, achievement, and wellbeing of the people who make up a healthy and prosperous educational organization. Dr. Mann spent 38 years as a public school teacher, school principal, district director, and assistant superintendent.
