Explore Our Work
The David C. Anchin Center for the Advancement of Teaching supports educator professional learning by connecting school and community partners to online professional development opportunities, continuing education, and classroom teacher technology integration tools.
Through our technology initiatives, we are developing resources that professional learning needs while empowering educators to use digital tools to improve student success.
Through a collaboration between the University of South Florida, Hillsborough County Public Schools, and Promethean Technology, known as the Promethean School Innovation Initiative, we support future and practicing educators to help identify innovative uses of Promethean Technology to better learning of students in Pre-K through grade 5 in urban settings.
Established in the David C. Anchin Center for the Advancement of Teaching in 2018, the Virtual & Augmented Reality Research Group is an interdisciplinary group that explores the potential of virtual & augmented reality to enhance educational outcomes.
