5k for K-12
The David C. Anchin Center for the Advancement of Teaching at the University of South Florida is proud to announce the inaugural 5k for K-12, a fundraising event in support of K-12 teachers. The 5k will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 and will draw an anticipated crowd of well over 2,000 Tampa Bay area teachers, students, community members, and education advocates.
One of our foremost initiatives is to provide quality professional development to teachers across the state. Professional development opportunities highlight cutting edge best practices in literacy, STEM, online teaching, and equity. Our goal is to make these events free for practicing teachers through fundraising events like the 5k for K-12. All proceeds benefit professional development opportunities for teachers!
