CSE PhD students win Duolingo Award

CSE PhD students Antonio Laverghetta Jr., Animesh Nighojkar, and Jamshidbek Mirzakhalov have won the Duolingo Award for best student presentation at this year's International Meeting of the Psychometric Society (IMPS 2021) for presenting their paper “Predicting Human Psychometric Properties Using Computational Language Models.” This award was given to only 3 presentations out of roughly 130. Laverghetta Jr., Nighojkar, and Mirzakhalov are working under the supervision of Assistant Professor John Licato.
