Sriram Chellappan, co-PI, for a $750K NSF grant with UCF

USF Department of Computer Science and Engineering Associate Professor and Undergraduate Program Coordinator for Cybersecurity Sriram Chellappan is a Co-Principal Investigator (co-PI) for a $750K National Science Foundation (NSF) grant with the University of Central Florida (UCF) as the lead with Georgia Tech and University of South Florida (USF), along with a small business Strajillion Inc. The Principal Investigator is Pamela Wisniewski (UCF) and the other Co-Principal Investigators are Munmun De Choudhury (Georgia Tech) and Karl MacMillan (Strajillion Inc). The project deals with conducting Social Sciences research on quantifying a variety of teen risks, and then using Machine Learning algorithms to design techniques to actually flag risks, so that False Positives are minimized. This project's duration is from September 2018 to August 2021.
