BIOGRAPHY:
Nick Fisher is a Partner at Longbow Capital Partners, a public equity hedge fund focused on Global Resilience in the context of energy transition, next generation infrastructure, strategic resources and supply chains. Nick offers over 26 years of experience bridging the defense, national security, technology and financial sectors across the US, UK, Europe and Australia. Alongside his role at USF, Nick is and advisor to the National Security and Economic Strategy Initiative at UNT and previously served as a Fellow for the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), an Australian and US government-funded think tank focused on national security and defense challenges in the Pacific with a particular focus on the AUKUS trilateral alliance.

Early in his career Nick served as an Officer in the Royal Navy undertaking a wide variety of appointments ranging from weapon engineering to special operations. Following his military service his civilian career has spanned roles ranging from corporate and business development and tech startup founder to strategic advisor to the UK Government on the role of private capital in innovation ecosystems, aiding in the formation of the UK National Security Strategic Investment Fund. Over the past decade Nick has operated on both the buy and sell side of financial services in aerospace, defense, national security and adjacent sectors.

Nick holds an MSc in Engineering and Management, a BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, a Certificate in International Relations and Terrorism Studies alongside various professional qualifications and licenses.
