BIOGRAPHY:
Chris Hunter is an executive leader with over 25 years experience in business, government, law, public policy, and higher education.  He currently is Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at IWP Family Office, a national multi-family office firm.

Chris previously served in the U.S. Department of Justice working in criminal and national security programs as a Senior Trial Attorney with the Criminal Division, Fraud Section, an Assistant United States Attorney with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida, and a Special Agent with the FBI. He received numerous awards for his achievements.

In the private sector, Chris also has been a compliance leader and advisor for national and international companies and counselor to businesses, executives, and boards.

He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tampa and previously has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at Stetson University College of Law as well as a Nonresident Senior Fellow with the Atlantic Council, Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security. Chris earned a BA from Boston College and a JD from Boston College Law School where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Boston College Environmental Affairs Law Review.
