BIOGRAPHY:
Steven Paget is the institutional lead for research, innovation, and knowledge exchange at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) Peterborough, where he is responsible for enhancing the research environment, promoting researcher development, and fostering industry engagement. He previously served as Senior Development Lead for Research and Knowledge Exchange and has held leadership roles across several universities, including Associate Dean (Research and Innovation).

Steven was formerly the Military Programmes Director and led the Defence and Security Research Network at the University of Lincoln. Prior to that, he was Reader in International Security and War Studies at the University of Portsmouth and served as Director of Air and Space Power Education at Royal Air Force (RAF) College Cranwell.

His research focuses on defence and international security, with a multi-domain approach that emphasizes air and naval operations. Steven specializes in multinational military cooperation, particularly among the Five Eyes partners: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He is also deeply engaged in the advancement of professional military education, especially in relation to internationalisation and cultural interoperability.
