Workforce Development

Elizabeth has 35 years of leadership experience in the field of workforce development, continuing education, curriculum design, and training delivery and is the recipient of award-winning, state-of-the-art workforce training initiatives.

She has held senior-level positions including director of large, state-wide workforce training and development initiatives, supervising professional teams of senior-level trainers and instructors. She also successfully owned and operated a private consulting firm for 15 years, specializing in workforce development and training for the New York State Office of the Governor.

Prior to joining USF in 2009, Elizabeth worked for Health Research, Inc., the New York State Department of Health, the State University of New York Research Foundation Professional Development Program, the American Red Cross, and Cornell University Cooperative Extension. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Human Services from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.

Elizabeth currently serves as the Program Manager for the Academy of Certified Research Administrators at USF. She is a Certified Online Instructor and has an Advanced-level credential as a Certified Research Administrator at USF. Elizabeth has been a member of the Association for Talent Development, the world's largest association dedicated to the talent development profession with members from more than 120 countries working in every industry sector. She also holds a membership with the National Council of University Research Administrators whose core purpose is to advance the field and profession of research administration.
