Group Fitness

Group Fitness classes -- both in-person and virtual -- will be available over Spring Break | April 10 - 18.   We will operate a modified schedule over the break, resuming our normal class schedule on Monday, April 19.

You asked, we delivered.  Starting on Monday, February 22, you have even more in-person classes to choose from when deciding how you want to move.  Class size remains limited to nine (9) participants.  Registration is required for all classes.

In-Person | Group Fitness Classes

Safety

As with all activities during the pandemic, our in-person Group Fitness classes have been modified to insure your safety.  Here are the key items to note before you join us:

  1. Classes are limited to nine (9) participants and one (1) instructor
  2. Campus Pass (Archivum) clearance must be shown when entering the building
  3. Masks are required at all times, including during the class itself
  4. Physical distancing will be maintained at all times
  5. Our instructors will clean and sanitize equipment before and after use

All respective equipment will be provided upon your arrival.  Please do not bring your own dumbbells, kettlebells, ropes, etc.  You may, however, bring your own floor mat and water bottle.

Booking & Cancelation

In-Person classes will become available for booking 25 hours in advance.  The class titles will include "In-Person" to differentiate from our Virtual offerings.

You will receive an email confirmation once registered.  You do not need to make an additional facility reservation -- your class registration will give you clearance to enter the building.

If you can no longer attend the class, we ask that you cancel.  This allows fellow Bulls to enjoy the in-person class experience, as spaces are limited.

Location | Indoors

The majority of our in-person Group Fitness classes will be at the Campus Recreation Center (REC).  The respective rooms for all classes held at the REC are listed on the class schedule

Enter the REC through our temporary entrance (East Gym) across from Champions Choice.  The front-desk team will direct you to your class.

Location | Outdoors - East/West Fields

Certain Bootcamp classes will be held on the East/West Fields.  The Fields are located between the basketball courts and the varsity running track (approximately 300 meters from the REC).  Our front-desk team can help direct you.

Rain | Alternate Location

We live in Florida -- rain happens.  In the event of precipation during an outdoor Bootcamp class, proceed back to the REC.  Your class will be held indoor in Room 107.


virtual | Group Fitness Classes

We will continue to offer Virtual Group Fitness classes in Spring 2021.  Upon registration, you will receive an email containing a link to the class (Microsoft Teams).  The link will activate 15 minutes prior to the start of the class.
