Graduation & Commencement

Graduation Application Information

Applying for graduation through your OASIS account is required and allows your college to begin the process of reviewing your record to ensure you are on track for graduation. Once final grades are posted, your college will then begin certifying degrees and mailing diplomas for students who have successfully completed all degree requirements.

• Click on Steps for Graduation to review graduation application instructions and information to prepare for the Commencement ceremony, if you choose to attend.
  
  • Important: If you have submitted a graduation application for a previous semester but did not graduate, you will need to submit a new graduation application.
  • Check in with your Major Academic Advisor for a graduation audit to ensure all of your program requirements have been met successfully, if you have not already done so. 
    •  If you need to update your diploma address, please complete the Diploma Address Change Request and send to graduation@usf.edu. The diploma address cannot be updated at Commencement.

Commencement Information

Participating in the Commencement Ceremony is a separate process from applying for graduation and is an optional event that symbolizes your accomplishment.  

• Applying to graduate by the priority deadline of February 16th will ensure your name is included in the printed Commencement brochure.  Students who apply for graduation after the priority deadline can still have their names in the digital Commencement brochure.
