USF Upward Bound Golden Anniversary
The Upward Bound Program at the University of South Florida celebrated 50 years (1966-2016) of Pride, Service, & Success on October 1, 2016! Over 4,000 alumni have come through the program and today are doing amazing things locally and abroad. Our college enrollment rates have been at 80 percent or higher (students who enroll into college by the fall semester upon exiting high school) since 1966. Over the past two years, our students have had 6 year graduation rates from college (A.A. or higher) at 60%. We invite you to come celebrate the impact Upward Bound has had on the Tampa Bay Community. Our success has been the result of working hand in hand with University personnel, Hillsborough County Schools, Community partners, and our Upward Bound families!
