Transfer

Accepted Students

Congratulations on your acceptance! We know that deciding to transfer to another university is a big decision, and we want you to feel comfortable that you’re making the right choice. If your answer is YES (and we hope it is), use the links on the right to begin your journey as a USF Bull.

Activate Net ID & Verify Personal Information

We want to stay in touch! If you haven’t already done so, visit my.usf.edu and activate your USF NetID and USF email address. Your USF email address will be used by all University offices for official communication. Also, verify that your address, telephone number and email addresses are current. Make updates if necessary. Also, check your residency status to ensure you are charged the correct tuition rate.

Review Admission Criteria for Your College

If you are a transfer student admitted to the university who is seeking entry into one of the following colleges, we recommend you review the admission criteria for your intended academic program.

Apply for Financial Aid & Scholarships

Explore scholarship opportunities at USF. Most have a deadline of February 1. Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before March 1.

Apply for Housing & Meal Plan

Review on-campus housing options and meal plans. Housing assignments are made based on the date of a completed housing application. To ensure you receive your preferred housing assignment, do not delay!

Submit Medical History

All new students must submit the official USF Medical History form and provide proof of immunizations to Student Health Services prior to registering for classes. Students living on campus must provide evidence of Meningitis vaccination to receive a housing assignment.

Register for Orientation

All new students must attend an orientation session. Once you have activated your NetID and paid your admissions deposit, you may register for your preferred orientation date.

Submit Transcripts

You must submit official transcripts from each institution attended within 30 days of the beginning of the semester.

Review Transfer Credits

The Office of Admissions will evaluate your transcript to determine which credits are transferrable to USF. The college of your major will assign equivalent courses in determining which courses are applicable toward a specific degree at USF. Log in to myUSF and visit OASIS to review your transfer credits.

Review Tuition & Fees

USF does not mail tuition bills. Once you are registered for classes, check your tuition due at my.usf.edu. Sign up for e-deposit to permit financial aid and student refunds to be directly deposited into your personal bank account.

You're a Bull! What's Next?
