About INTO Workshops
INTO USF offers a range of academic workshops at the INTO USF Tutoring Center. These workshops are designed to promote and assist the academic development of a student outside of their specific course content. Workshop topics include Time Management, Learning Styles, Classroom Test Prep, Critical Thinking, and others. Students will be able to discuss and learn ways in which they can become successful within their approach to academics.
Academic Workshop Calendar
Workshops will be held from 3:30pm - 4:45pm on Wednesdays throughout the academic term in FAO 018. As information can be subject to change, please check with the INTO USF Tutoring Center regarding any questions.
Math Workshop Calendar
Students in Academic English levels 4, 5, and 6 who plan to study through the Pathway program are provided an opportunity to develop their math skills in preparation for their graduate or undergraduate academic requirements. The Math Workshop is primarily designed for students who plan to study Engineering or other math and science related majors within the undergraduate Pathway, but any Academic English level 4, 5, or 6 student can attend.
Every fall and spring semester, the INTO USF Tutoring Center conducts free GRE & GMAT Workshops for Graduate Pathway students. These workshops are a great opportunity for students to become familiar with the challenges of these standardized tests while navigating the complexity and specificity of each type of question. Students work with qualified and experienced instructors where they will learn different strategies and techniques.
