• We have a responsibility to all of our students and not just our majors.
• Sustainability is not just a challenge; rather, it is THE challenge of the century.
• The world is not made up of atoms. Rather, it is made up of stories.
• Content vs. context is a false dichotomy. We need both.
• The answers to lots of really interesting questions are not in the back of the book.
• Change people's behavior and their minds will follow.
