POSITION SUMMARY:

The Department of Psychology at the University of South Florida, Tampa campus invites applications for a full time nine-month, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Instruction to begin on August 7, 2022. A review of applications will begin on January 3, 2022. Applications received after January 3, 2022, may be reviewed and advanced, in cases of compelling merit, up to the conclusion of the search process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Applicants must be able to teach a variety of undergraduate courses (three per semester) and will be expected to work closely with the Coordinator of Undergraduate Affairs, lead the department’s annual Psychology Expo, and provide additional departmental service.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires a doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Psychology or a related discipline and be qualified to perform assigned duties by the time of the appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants with interests or experience teaching Psych Tests and Measurement, Research Methods in Psych, Experimental Design and Analysis, and Introduction to Psychological Science.
