The Department of Psychology at the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA invites applications for a 9-month appointment of a tenure track scholar in INDUSTRIAL-ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, with service to begin as early as August 7, 2020. Salary is negotiable.

A review of the applications will begin on January 31, 2020. Applications received after January 31, 2020, may be reviewed and advanced, in cases of compelling merit, up to the conclusion of the search process.

The successful applicant will be expected to establish an independent program of research that will garner extramural support, to supervise and mentor graduate students, to teach graduate and undergraduate classes, and to participate in departmental governance.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of Psychology with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Normally will have produced creative work, professional writing or research in referred and other professional journals. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.

Preferred Qualifications:

We prefer applicants who show evidence of outstanding research and teaching. We are particularly interested in scholars with programs of research in the areas of occupational health psychology, human factors, technology in the workplace, and/or data analytics.

Please Note: Applications from individuals who are ABD will be accepted but the doctoral degree must be conferred by the start of the appointment.
