Theatre 1
The USF Arts District, home to the College of Design, Art & Performance, is a cultural hub comprised of theatres, concert halls, exhibition spaces, design studios, and more. The connected campus is a welcoming destination that offers the university and community a place to engage with the arts through a variety of free events. We proudly feature our faculty, students, and guest artists in over 400 stage productions, concerts, exhibitions and lectures each year.
USF Theatre 1 is a multi-use theatre utilized by all disciplines in the College of Design, Art & Performance. Seating 550 guest continental style, Theatre 1 is a proscenium theatre with a fully rigged fly house with 43 line sets. It has two orchestra pits with one lowering to the stage floor and the other to the basement.
