Summer Camps & Pre-College Programs
Whatever your passion may be, the USF College of The Arts invites students in middle school and high school to pursue an interest in creativity and performance at one of our exciting summer camps and pre-college programs. Participants will experience rich cultural and creative activities that enhance their skills and explore new horizons. Through hands-on learning in a challenging and supportive environment, students will develop new techniques, new friendships, and new experiences. Both resident and commuter options are available on some of our programs for students from outside the Tampa Bay area. We welcome your interest and hope to see you at a future summer camp!
The USF School of Architecture & Community Design's Design by Making Summer Program for high school students enables students entering grades 9 to 12 in Fall 2021 to explore architecture from a designer's viewpoint. The 10-day program introduces participants to different design methods within a studio environment.
This four-week pre-college program allows students entering grades 11 to 12 in Fall of 2021 to earn college credit. The program is designed to challenge students by exploring philosophical principles through the lens of filmmaking. Students will study current works in film across genres and identify and discuss the meaning and theoretical approach.
