USF Faculty and Students Present Music Education Research in Montréal

The music education faculty at the University of South Florida College of Design, Art & Performance were all invited to present their research topics at The International Society of Music Education (ISME) World Conference in Montréal. ISME is "a global organization dedicated to promoting music education across all cultures and societies. Founded in 1953, ISME operates under the auspices of UNESCO and is recognized as one of the most influential international bodies in the field of music education" (https://www.isme.org/). Dr.'s Bugos, Charney, Fung, and Randles presented to attendees on a range of research topics from multiphilisophical approaches to music education, spirituality in music, effects of music training on executive function, and differentiated learning in large classrooms. USF music education doctoral students Emily Langerholc and Lizzie Bertazo Lessa as well as undergraduate Kayla Brown presented their research.
