Chris Maltezos has over 18 years of experience teaching and advising students at the University of South Florida. He joined the Theatre Department as an adjunct instructor in 2008 teaching the popular Great Performances on Film course. Maltezos received his BA in mass communications and minor in theatre performance at the University of South Florida in 1985. He resumed his graduate studies also at USF and was awarded an MLA in Liberal Studies with a focus on communication performance and film studies.

An avid film lover and follower, Maltezos also brings over 25 years of experience performing in various stage productions to his passion for acting and motion pictures. Some of his favorite roles include Porferio at the Loft Theatre in Tampa and productions of Cuban Bread and Finer Noble Gases at TheatreUSF.

He is a proud USF alumnus, using his passion for academic excellence and love of the arts to advise and teach students.
