In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian
chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster. When they
awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a
prize like no other — the chance to return to life. A funny, moving look at what makes
a life well-lived!

This is a pre-approved event for students pursuing the Global Citizen Award.
Admission is FREE and tickets will be available at the door for College of The Arts: Music, Theatre, and Dance events on a first-come, first-served basis. The lobby will open 1 hour prior to the event, and the doors will open approximately 30 minutes before the performance. Please arrive ahead of time to ensure your ticket as seating is limited.
The free tickets will be given out individually. Each patron will be given one ticket.
It is fundamental to the University of South Florida’s mission to support an environment where divergent ideas, theories, and philosophies can be openly exchanged and critically evaluated. Consistent with these principles, this musical may involve presentation of ideas that you find uncomfortable, disagreeable, or even offensive. You may judge the characters. In fact, you’re supposed to. You might find them wanting. Humans often are.

Concert. Investigating themes that include reality versus dreams, DanceUSF faculty
choreographers – Andee Scott, Andrew Carroll, John Parks, Sadie Lehmker, and Michael
Foley - will present newly devised works performed by USF dance students in this fall
production.

An eclipse. A mother's death. A terrifying prophecy: the newborn Prince will be a
tyrant that kills his own father. The king hides his son away in a prison to prevent
the oracle's promise. But in doing so, is he actually the cause of the prince's tyrannical
nature? One of the greatest works from the Spanish Golden Age in a new staging by
professor Dora Arreola asks if it is nature or nurture that make us who we are.

Jeté 5K! fundraiser run will benefit the students of the School of Theatre and Dance by raising funds to support performance and production costs and student travel through a fun celebratory event for the whole family. In this modern-day riff on The Scarlet Letter, Hester La Negrita, a homeless mother
of five, lives with her kids on the tough streets of the inner city. Her eldest child
is teaching her how to read and write, but the letter “A” is, so far, the only letter
she knows. While Hester’s kids fill her life with joy—lovingly comical moments amid
the harsh world of poverty—is that enough to surmount the circumstances set against
her?

DanceUSF is excited to showcase our students’ talent and skill in this Spring Dance
Concert. Investigating themes that include reality versus dreams, DanceUSF faculty
choreographers – Bliss Kohlmyer, Jeanne Travers and Paula Nunez - will present newly
devised works performed by USF dance students in this fall production. Additionally,
world-renowned contemporary choreographer Kate Weare will set a new work on the USF
dancers for its world-premiere in this production.

dream-like tale of faithful friends, feuding families and lovers in disguise.
Forced from their homes, Orlando, Duke Senior, his daughter Rosalind and niece Celia
escape to the Forest of Arden, a fantastical place of transformation, where all are
welcomed and embraced. Lost amidst the trees, the refugees find community and acceptance
under the stars.
