Current day Violet looks down on a memory of her father admonishing her.
A preacher preaches in front of a gospel choir.
Violet looks at a magazine while talking with two soldiers.
The whole cast of Violet sings together.
The Violet of the past embraces her father.

With a lead role that won Sutton Foster a Tony nomination for the 2014 Broadway revival and music by Jeanine Tesori (of smash Broadway hit Fun Home fame), Violet tells the story of a young woman’s quest for beauty amidst the image-obsessed landscape of the 1960's. Facially disfigured in a childhood accident, Violet dreams of a miraculous transformation through the power of faith. Convinced that a televangelist in Oklahoma can heal her, she hops on a Greyhound bus and starts the journey of a lifetime and discovers the true meaning of beauty, courage and love.

Violet is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
