Payroll and Tax Services
As a part of the University Controller's Office, USF Payroll is committed to ensuring all employees are paid accurately, timely and in accordance with all University, State and Federal policies, procedures and regulations. Additionally, the Payroll department is responsible for the reporting and compliance for employee benefits, tax and payroll deductions as well as ensuring the payroll transactions are properly recorded in the University's accounting system.
W-2 tax forms for 2020 have been prepared and are ready for release.
Consent for electronic delivery for 2020 W-2s was due by January 13, 2021.
- If you consented, you will be able to access your form through the GEMS Employee Self Service portal via MyUSF on January 19, 2021.
- If you did not consent , a paper form will be mailed to your GEMS mailing address on January 29, 2021.
- NEW THIS YEAR If you are a terminated employee who previously consented to receive your W-2 electronically, you may access it through the GEMS Employee Self Service via MyUSF until October 15, 2021.
Also NEW THIS YEAR, the Social Security Number (SSN) on your form has been truncated so that only the last four of the SSN appear on the form.
If you have not consented for electronic delivery and do not receive your paper form by February 15, 2021, please complete the reissuance request form available at: Payroll Forms
