Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy
Prospective Students
The Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy offers programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. All of our programs provide students with accounting and business knowledge that will serve as a basis for careers in industry, government, non-profit organizations and public accountancy. In addition, master's degree program may be structured to satisfy the requirements to sit for the CPA Examination in Florida.

Undergraduate Major
The Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy is an upper-level, limited access school, which means that students applying to the undergraduate major have additional prerequisites beyond the general entry requirements to the Muma College of Business.
Undergraduate Minor
Students who are majoring in business can earn a minor in accounting. The completion of four courses, among other requirements, must be met.
Graduate Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering
The four courses in the certificate program will provide students with a strong foundation in risk identification, assessment and management techniques. The program also focuses on providing students with knowledge regarding compliance with various rules, laws, and regulations affecting businesses.
Master of Accountancy
Students entering the Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program must already have the equivalent of an undergraduate degree in accounting from an AACSB accredited school. The MAcc program #5 nationally among schools with 15 or fewer full-time faculty.
PhD in Accountancy
Graduates of the PhD program demonstrate the mastery of one or more specialized areas of accounting, such as accounting information systems, auditing, managerial accounting, or financial accounting. Our program is purposefully small, so that students are able to work closely with faculty members while pursuing their doctoral degree.
Non-Degree Student
Students who want to take classes in the Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy but are not seeking a full degree can request a permit to enroll in courses. These students usually are enrolled at another college or university but want to take classes in the in the School, or they have already earned a degree but need to take classes to qualify for professional certification. Permits are granted on a space-available basis.
