Approaching its fourth year, the Fintech|X Accelerator has drawn startup founders from across the United States and around the world who have gone on to generate millions in revenue while creating hundreds of jobs.

USF joins Tampa’s innovation leaders at Synapse Summit 2025. USF made a major impact at Synapse Summit 2025, with students, faculty and researchers leading panels, keynotes and startup showcases. From solar energy innovation to national security and artificial intelligence, many USF colleges played a role in shaping Tampa Bay’s future.
Ashley Julmis, Finance '11, was named a 2025 USF Outstanding Young Alumni Award recipient. She is a director for Google Workspace, where she leads product strategy and operations.
