Tampa Bay Wave and USF announce new class of startups for FinTech|X Accelerator. Ten high-growth startups will take part in the accelerator program, which aims to propel businesses through support and guidance from industry veterans to success in the Tampa Bay region and beyond.
Business leaders engage with faculty on the rapidly evolving field and future of fintech. Both businesses and universities are grappling with the disruptive nature of fintech, which is rapidly transforming industries.
Finance major Mason Thomas leads Delta Sigma Pi, sets sights on law school. Thomas, who is set to graduate in 2025, said embracing leadership roles helped him develop business and networking skills and gain confidence in social settings.
Joshua Redmond, a true USF legacy student, just graduated with his bachelor's degree in finance. Many of his family members went to USF, including both of his parents, his aunts, uncles and some cousins.
