John Bomba III, MS MIS, BS MIS, BS Biology Research Applications Developer III Email

Mr. Bomba is an accomplished IT professional who brings years of Information Technology, research experience and USF systems knowledge to the USF Rightpath Research and Innovation Center. Utilizing both his Biology and Management Information Systems education and experience, Mr. Bomba first joined USF in the College of Medicine in collaboration with H. Lee Moffit Cancer Center as a member of the Early Detection Resource Network Biomarker Development Laboratory. There, he developed electronic tools and microscopic experiments in an effort to identify lung cancer markers of early detection, and is published in areas of his work. In continuing his desire to contribute to research, Mr. Bomba gained valuable university knowledge of mission critical systems performing Institutional Research while working in the USF Office of Decision Support where he also earned his Master in Management Information Systems. Mr. Bomba has a sincere passion for data and is excited to be part of the Rightpath Team!
