Telisha McKenzie is an Administrative Specialist for the Department of Child and Family Studies. Her responsibilities are hybrid. She works with the pre-award team on grant proposals and submissions as well as post-award.  This is her sixth year at the University.

Telisha earned her BA in Sociology and her MS in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, each from Grand Canyon University. She successfully completed the Society of Research Administrators International Certificate in Financial Management. She is a former member of the Child and Family Studies Governance Council and the FCIC Community Advisory Committee. She also served as the secretary for the FCIC Leadership Team. She is a recipient of the 2019 Outstanding Staff Team Award.
