Dr. Sheriece Sadberry is a licensed counseling psychologist with areas of specializations in eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma. She is strongly committed to making mental health services accessible to everyone and providing an environment where individuals can function optimally and pursue their life goals. She is a Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, an executive coach at the Eckerd College Leadership Development Institute (LDI), and provides compensation and pension assessment for the Veteran’s Affairs.

Dr. Sheriece has worked with professional, collegiate and amateur athletes as a counseling and sport psychologist for many years. She was the primary provider for the University of Tampa and University of Kansas Athletics departments. She served as a facilitator for the NFL Rookie Success Program from 2014 – 2017 and was a preferred provider for the Kansas City Chiefs. She continues to provide presentations to the NFL rookies and is listed on the NFLPA preferred providers. Additionally, she is an approved provider for mental health and sport psychology for the USOC.

Previously, Dr. Sheriece worked at the University of Florida and Florida State University counseling centers where she provided individual, couples, and group therapy; crisis intervention; and outreach presentations to the university communities. She provided consultations to faculty, staff, administration, and parents on how to identify and help students in distress.

Dr. Sheriece received her Doctoral and Master’s degrees in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in sport psychology from the University of Missouri Columbia. She is a Ronald E. McNair Fellow.
