Congratulations USF Campus Diversity Officer Darren Gambrell! Gambrell received the Sarasota Magazine’s 2023 Unity Award. Gambrell, a military veteran, is a valued member of the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus community, where he draws on his organizational and programming expertise to support relationships among students, faculty and staff in the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Congratulations to Dr. Tangela Serls, the new Special Advisor to the CAS Dean on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (SADEI)! The SADEI is a member of the CAS Dean's leadership team and will provide transformational leadership on issues relating to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the College, evaluate current DEI efforts, and, provide recommendations on the development of new initiatives to advance the university's and college's goals to promote and foster an inclusive learning community
